The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is a part of the Chevrolet's third-generation Silverado lineup of heavy-duty pickup trucks. It offers a choice between a potent 360-hp 6-liter V8 gasoline engine and a beefy 445-hp 6.6-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel V8 engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard across all trims which are WT, LT, LTZ and High Country. It comes with Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) as standard, with an option for Four Wheel Drive (4WD). Standard tech features include Chevrolet Infotainment System with a 7 or 8-inch diagonal color touch-screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi. Safety features are comprehensive, including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Vision Camera. For 2019, the HD models didn’t undergo full redesign like the 1500 series, but received a new Tribute Edition package.
