2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Overview

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 is part of the truck's fourth generation. This robust vehicle is available in two body styles: a double cab with a standard bed or a crew cab with either a standard or long bed. The Silverado 3500 offers two engine choices: a 6.0L V8 producing 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, and a 6.6L turbodiesel V8 with a stunning 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. Six-speed automatic transmission is standard; however, the diesel engine comes with an Allison six-speed transmission, offering extra durability. Drivetrains include both RWD and 4WD. The 3500HD comes in four main trims: WT, LT, LTZ, and High Country, each with differing features and technologies. The infotainment system includes a 7 or 8 inch touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Safety features include a rearview camera and the optional Driver Alert package, which adds front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and forward collision warning.
