The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe is part of the model's fourth-generation. As the cornerstone of America's best-selling family of full-size SUVs, the Tahoe offers seating for up to 9, impressive towing capabilities and secure V8 power. It also comes in three available trims: LS, LT and Premier. The standard engine is a 5.3L V8 with 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional 6.2L V8 (available in the Premier trim) cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines utilize rear-wheel-drive with available four-wheel-drive. Inside, the Tahoe offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a Wi-Fi hotspot. On the safety front, it features a rearview camera, parking sensors and Teen Driver safety system standard. More advanced safety settings are available, including forward collision alert and lane-keep assist.
