The 2019 Chevrolet Volt is a part of the car's second generation that debuted in 2016. This plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) positions itself with two trims: LT and Premier. The Volt's powertrain comprises an electric motor and a 1.5L gasoline engine working cooperatively to produce 149hp. It features a 18.4 kWh battery that allows an all-electric range of up to 53 miles, and a total range of over 400 miles with the engine. All Volts come with a front-wheel drive and direct drive transmission. Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system is equipped with an 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen and both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
