The 2019 Dodge Journey belongs to the model's first and only generation launched in 2009. This midsize crossover SUV is powered by one of two engines: a 2.4-liter inline-4 delivering 173 horsepower or a more vigorous 3.6-liter V6 cranking out 283 horsepower. Both engines mate with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and while the base engine uses a front-wheel drive, the V6 version offers an all-wheel-drive system. The Journey is available in three trims: SE, Crossroad, and GT. Safety features include multistage front passenger airbags, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring display. It also offers Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Notable for the 2019 model-year, Dodge simplified the Journey lineup reducing it to just three trims and making the formerly optional 8.4-inch infotainment system standard on all but the base SE model.
