The 2019 Jeep Compass is a compact SUV that boldly embodies the manufacturer's reputation for off-road readiness and adventurous appeal. Part of the second Compass generation introduced in 2017, it's offered in four main trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and the off-road-oriented Trailhawk. Depending on trim level, the Compass is available with either front-wheel or four-wheel drive. All models are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. An automatic transmission is standard in most cases, but a manual is also available. Inside, the Compass is equipped with a 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen running Uconnect infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The 2019 model also boasts several advanced safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.
