The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS represents the third-year model of the second-generation GLS. This full-size luxury SUV comes in three trims: GLS 450, GLS 550, and performance-tuned AMG GLS 63. Standard power comes from a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 (362 hp) in the GLS 450, while a 4.7-liter V8 (449 hp) propels the GLS 550. The AMG GLS 63 boasts a 5.5-liter V8 producing 577 horses. All models use a nine-speed automatic transmission and feature 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Notable features include a standard 7-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and forward collision mitigation. Upgrades like a panoramic sunroof, heated front and rear seats, and a 13-speaker Harman Kardon sound system are available. Not many changes were introduced for 2019, but all models gained standard LED headlights.
