The 2020 Acura MDX, a part of the third-generation launched in 2014, is a luxury three-row SUV, offering front-wheel drive as standard and optional SH-AWD (Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive). Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine rated at 290 horsepower, and paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The MDX is available in five trims – Standard, Technology, A-Spec, Advance and an efficient Sport Hybrid. Key safety features include AcuraWatch, a suite of technologies that brings lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automated emergency braking. The infotainment system includes an 8-inch upper screen, a 7-inch lower touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an optional ELS Studio premium audio system. There were no significant changes for the 2020 model year, as a new generation is expected for 2021.
