The 2020 BMW M5, part of the sixth generation introduced in 2018, is a power-packed luxury sports sedan that outperforms most competitors. It comes with a 4.4-liter V8 engine producing 600 horsepower in the base M5, and 617 horsepower in the Competition package. This power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system. Transmission modes can be modified to allow for traditional rear-wheel drive.
