The 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV part of the first generation introduced in 2018. It's available in five trims – ES, LE, SE, SP, and SEL. All trims are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, producing 152 horsepower, mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available across all trims. Inside, owners can enjoy a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard from the LE model upward. Notable safety features include forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning with lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert, but these premium features are only available on the SE trim and above. Despite its competitive pricing, the Eclipse Cross faced criticism about its split rear window view and acceleration performance.
