The 2021 BMW 7 Series is a luxury sedan born of BMW's commitment to excellence and elegance, residing at the apex of the brand's lineup. It is distinguished by sophisticated comfort, comprehensive technology and a range of power from efficient to extravagant. The sixth generation 7 Series comes in five trims: 740i, 745e (a plug-in hybrid), 750i, M760i, and the Alpina B7. Engines range from an inline-six in the 740i (making 335 hp) to a massive V-12 in the M760i that generates an impressive 600 hp. An 8-speed automatic is standard across all trims. All models except the 740i have standard all-wheel drive (AWD); the 740i is rear-wheel drive (RWD) but offers AWD as an option. Each 7 Series features a sleek 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot. For safety, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind spot monitoring are standard.
