The 2021 BMW 8 Series represents the second generation of BMW's premier grand touring car. Available as a coupe, convertible, or four-door 'Gran Coupe', the series offers a variety of engine options. Starting with a 3.0L turbocharged inline-six with 335 hp in the base 840i model, the range tops out with the M8 Competition's 4.4L twin-turbo V8, pumping out a massive 617 hp. Standard rear-wheel drive can be upgraded to xDrive AWD for better traction and handling. On the inside, expect luxurious comfort paired with BMW's latest tech. This includes a 10.25" central infotainment display with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a suite of driver-assistance features. For 2021, BMW expanded the standard equipment list with remote start and ventilated front seats for all 8 Series models.
