As part of the first generation, the 2021 Cadillac CT4 is a luxury sedan that has been designed to compete against German automakers. It offers four variants: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and the top-performance V-Series. Powertrain options start with a 237-hp 2.0L turbo-4, while a 2.7L turbo-4 available in two states of tune pushes output to 309-hp and 325-hp respectively. Paired with an 8-speed or 10-speed automatic transmission, all trims can be configured in RWD or AWD. The interior is plush and features standard leatherette upholstery, with optional genuine leather. The infotainment system is commanded by an 8" touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Safety features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and safety alert seat which are standard. This model year added Super Cruise, Cadillac's advanced hands-free driver-assistance system, as an optional feature.
