The 2021 Cadillac Escalade represents the fifth generation of this full-size luxury SUV. It is powered by a standard 6.2-liter V8 engine pushing out 420 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and available in both RWD and 4WD configurations. For the eco-conscious, a Duramax 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine is also on offer. The Escalade comes in five trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum. Key safety features include automatic emergency braking, front and rear park assist, and GMC’s Safety Alert Seat. The centerpiece of the Escalade's interior is the 38” curved OLED display incorporating the driver's gauge cluster, infotainment screen, and touchscreen for secondary controls. Features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot come standard. Notable for the 2021 model year are a completely new design, enhanced Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system, and the first-ever diesel engine offering in Escalade's history.
