The 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a part of the 1st generation introduced in 2017. It stands up in the electric vehicle segment with its affordable price and spacious, upscale interior. The Bolt EV is powered by a front-mounted electric motor with 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, mated with the direct-drive transmission, offering a FWD drivetrain. It has an impressive EPA-rated range of 259 miles. Available in two trims – LT and Premier, the Bolt EV comes equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. As for safety measures, the Premier trim offers advanced features, including forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. The 2021 model, however, offers no significant changes from its predecessors.
