The 2021 Hyundai Veloster is a compact sports car that offers an attractive blend of performance and practicality. Now in its second generation, the Veloster is available in four trims: 2.0, 2.0 Premium, Turbo R-Spec, and Turbo Ultimate. Standard models get a 2.0L inline-4 engine that produces 147 hp while the Turbo trims amp up the excitement with a 1.6L turbo-4 engine that pushes out 201 hp. All trims come with front-wheel drive and a choice between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, except for the Turbo R-Spec which is exclusively manual. Standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of safety features that includes forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, and driver-attention warning among others.
