The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, part of the fifth generation introduced in 2017, is a luxury midsize vehicle offered in sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon body styles. The E-Class is available with a range of powertrains including a four-cylinder, 9-speed automatic with 255 horsepower (E350), a turbo inline-6 with 362 horsepower (E450), and high-performance AMG variants with up to 603 horsepower (E63 S). All models feature RWD as standard with optional AWD. The E-Class boasts advanced tech features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the MBUX infotainment system, standard on all models. Key safety highlights include automatic emergency braking, a drowsiness monitor, blind spot monitoring, and the option to add Mercedes' Driver Assistance Package, which includes additional driver assistance technologies. For 2021, the E-Class receives a refresh with a new front end, steering wheel, and latest MBUX infotainment system.
