The 2021 Nissan LEAF is an all-electric hatchback available in two core trims: the S and SV. Both trims are powered by a 147-horsepower electric motor, but a more powerful 214-hp motor is offered with the optional LEAF PLUS models (S PLUS, SV PLUS, and SL PLUS). All versions are front-wheel drive. The base LEAF has an EPA-estimated range of 149 miles, while the more powerful LEAF PLUS models boast up to 226 miles. Standard features include an 8" touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic temperature control, and Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite, which incorporates automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. Upgrades can include a larger 9" touchscreen, navigation, leather seats, and ProPILOT Assit, Nissan's semi-autonomous driving aid. For 2021, Nissan made the previously optional 8" touchscreen standard on all models.
