2021 RAM 5500 Overview

The 2021 Ram 5500 is a powerful heavy-duty truck, available in five trims: Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, and Limited. It is part of the fifth-generation Ram introduced in 2019. All trims equip a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine, delivering 410-HP, partnered with a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional 6.7L Cummins I-6 Turbo Diesel rack up the horsepower to a phenomenal 360-HP and an extraordinary 800 lb-ft of torque. A four-wheel drive system is available. The model offers an 8.4" or 12" touchscreen featuring the UConnect system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and available Wi-Fi hotspot. Safety highlights include a 360° surround view camera, adaptive cruise control, and available forward collision warning with active braking.
