The 2022 Cadillac CT5 is an upscale midsize sedan in its third model year. Available in three trims (Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport), the CT5 offers one standard engine, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder delivering 237 horsepower. The Premium Luxury and Sport options can be upgraded to a 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 with 335 or 360 horsepower respectively. All engines have a ten-speed automatic transmission and can be configured with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Inside, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, while a Wi-Fi hotspot and 9-speaker sound system are standard, with the option of a fancier Bose audio system. Safety-wise, the CT5 includes standard features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and safety alert seat, with options for additional advanced safety features. One notable change this year is the addition of Super Cruise, GM’s hands-off highway driving assist system, as an available option for the 2022 CT5.
