The 2022 Dodge Challenger is one of the last true muscle cars still on the market, featuring powerful engine options, a wide range of trims, and distinctive retro styling. Its lineup starts with the SXT trim featuring a 3.6L V6 engine that produces 303 horsepower and escalates up to the top-tier SRT Super Stock equipped with a supercharged 6.2L V8 boasting massive 807 horsepower. Most models feature an 8-speed automatic transmission with the option of RWD or AWD on lower trims. The Uconnect infotainment—the centerpiece of interior tech—includes a 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Driver aids—such as forward collision warning, automatic high-beam headlamps and blind-spot monitoring—are also available as part of optional packages. Notable for 2022, the Challenger lineup adds a couple of new appearance packages and colors, while the SRT Hellcat models get heated seats and a heated steering wheel as standard.
