The 2022 Jeep Renegade is a versatile subcompact SUV from the brand, available in four trims: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Both Sport and Latitude come standard with a 177-hp 1.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, whereas Limited and Trailhawk offer a 2.4L I4 delivering 180 horses. All trims are associated with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Two drivetrains are available: Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) for the Sport, Latitude, and Limited, while the Trailhawk receives Jeep's Active Drive Low Four-Wheel-Drive System for off-road prowess. The Renegade is furnished with Jeep's Uconnect infotainment system featuring a 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and optional GPS navigation. Advanced safety technologies such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking are available. For 2022, Renegade specifically adds altitude trims, bringing some exterior and interior aesthetic changes.
