The 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz is the first generation of the compact pickup truck segment from the Korean automaker. Available in four trims: SE, SEL, SEL Premium, and Limited, it comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 191 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Additionally, there's an optional turbocharged 2.5-liter engine delivering 281 horsepower and has standard all-wheel drive. The truck's cabin boasts an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, while a larger 10.3-inch display is optional. Hyundai’s latest digital key system allows for phone-based keyless entry and start. On the safety front, the Santa Cruz offers forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, among other features.
