The 2023 Toyota Tundra represents the first year of the truck's third generation. It's offered in RWD and 4WD configurations, with a choice of two drivetrains: a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine that produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, and a hybrid variant producing 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. Each is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Trims include the SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro. Standard infotainment includes a 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an available 14-inch screen. Toyota Safety Sense, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, and automatic emergency braking, comes standard in all models. A key change for this year is the hybrid i-FORCE MAX option, offering better fuel efficiency and more horsepower than the previous model.
