The 2024 BMW M4, part of the German automaker’s fourth-generation 4-Series, is a high-performance luxury coupe powered by a turbocharged I6 engine, with options for an output of 473 horsepower in the standard model or 503 in the Competition variant. Each model uses either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with an 8-speed automatic transmission in the Competition model or a standard 6-speed manual on the regular M4. The lineup includes the M4, M4 Competition, and the M4 CS. Safety features include forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, blindspot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. The infotainment system, displayed on a 10.3” touchscreen, supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. A new feature for 2024 is the M4 CS, with a tweaked suspension and enhanced sport exhaust.
