The 2024 BMW X7, the brand's most impressive SUV, is in its second generation, dating back to 2018. The monstrous vehicle features three trims: sDrive40i, xDrive40i, and M50i. The sDrive40i and xDrive40i ensure a 335-hp turbocharged inline-six and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, respectively. On the other hand, the M50i, powered by a 4.4-liter V-8, churns out an ample 523-horsepower. All trims use an eight-speed automatic transmission and while sDrive40i comes with rear-wheel drive (RWD), the other trims boast all-wheel drive (AWD). Notable safety features comprise forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitoring. The interior is loaded with tech including a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen that incorporates Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The 2024 model carries over largely unchanged.
