The 2026 BMW X2 is a part of the first generation that was introduced in 2018. As a subcompact luxury SUV, it boasts BMW's signature driving dynamics and a stylish design that stands out in a crowd. The powertrain offerings include a base 228-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission while the M35i model sees an uprated version of the same engine but with 302-hp, and standard AWD. The X2 offers several safety features, including forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and available adaptive cruise control. An 8.8" touchscreen system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, while other available tech includes a wireless charging pad, Wi-Fi hotspot, and a head-up display. The 2026 model year sees no significant changes.
