The 2026 GMC Terrain is an impressive compact SUV and is a part of the model's second-generation lineup. The vehicle comes standard with a front-wheel drive, but an all-wheel drive option is also available. The powertrain consists of a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 170 horsepower, or a more powerful 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo that makes 252 horsepower. Both come with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The GMC Terrain is available in four trims: SL, SLE, SLT, and the luxuriously appointed Denali.
