59,000 miles
Finished from the factory in black, the car has been repainted Ruby Red Metallic and modified with steel Turbo-style rear fender flares. Exterior details include a tea tray rear spoiler, dual side mirrors, RoW rear bumperettes, a rear heckblende panel, and a single exhaust outlet. The rear bumper was repaired and repainted in preparation for the sale, at which time the passenger-side rocker panel seal was replaced and the door handles were refinished. The 16″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with 225/50 front and 245/50 rear BFGoodrich G Force Comp 2 A/S tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted ventilated disc brakes at all four corners, and the rear brake rotors, master cylinder, and lines were replaced in preparation for the sale. Additional work in 2025 involved repairing the rear sway bar mount and replacing the shocks, trailing arm bushings, sway bar bushings, strut mounts, and control arm bushings. The front bucket seats and individual rear seats were reupholstered in black leatherette in 2025. The pedal box was rebuilt and a Blaupunkt CD stereo was also installed along with a replacement heater blower, shifter bushings, and door sill pads. The air conditioning components have been removed. The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline that is flanked by a replacement 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 59k miles. The tachometer was repaired in 2025. A previous owner installed an air-cooled 3.0-liter SOHC flat-six. An engine-out service in preparation for the sale involved repairing wiring, performing a valve adjustment, and replacing the valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, front crankshaft seal, and fuel injector seals along with the battery, engine mounts, throttle body boot, fuel pump and lines, ignition wires, oil lines, crankshaft pulley and fan pulley, and evaporator hoses. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. A fluid service was performed and the clutch cable was replaced in 2025. The underside was also cleaned with dry ice.
