2014 Aston Martin DB9 Volante

The DB9 featured a mix of aluminum and composite body panels installed over an extruded aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Onyx Black with a convertible soft top and features a Tungsten grille, hood vents, fender vents, carbon-fiber mirror caps, parking sensors, LED taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below. The 20″ split-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The car is equipped with adaptive dampers, and braking is handled by silver-finished calipers fitted over four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated ceramic-composite rotors. The cabin features power-adjustable front seats trimmed in Obsidian Black leather, while carbon-look trim accents the center stack and door panels. Amenities include front-seat position memory settings, a rearview camera, a retractable navigation screen, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, push-button ignition, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 14k miles, approximately 110 of which were added during current ownership. The 5.9-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An oil change was recently carried out.
