When the Thunderbird Super Coupe debuted for 1989, it let the world know that Ford was really serious about building a sporty luxury coupe. With clean yet distinctive styling, a powerful supercharged V6, a five-speed stick (automatic was optional) and an athletic chassis, this entertaining T-bird had it all.
