Description - Unique, one of kind lowrider with a great "full circle" story. In the late 60's a young man purchased this sedan delivery from a local plumbing company in southern California and made it his "cruiser" well into the mid-70's when, while cruising up the "Grapevine" hill (yup, you know the one) the original inline six blew and that was the end of the line, or so he thought. Hauling it to a local scrapyard, he parted ways with it and moved on with his life. Fast-forward 30 years, now living in WI and feeling nostalgic, he starts poking around on the google machine and comes across a nice, older restored sedan delivery located in Las Vegas, NV. Reminded of all the fond memories he had of his, he reached out and in conversation with the seller in NV he learns that a family member of theirs had drug this sedan delivery (with a blown motor) from a salvage yard in southern CA in the mid 70's.....You know where we're going with this, don't you?
After being reunited with his first car, over the past 19 years it has been enjoyed greatly while winning multiple Best in Show trophies across WI, MN and beyond. Stripped and repainted, along with shaved doors, custom murals and pinstriping in 2009. Engine rebuilt in 2008-09 and has approximately 10k miles since. Old school hydraulics with all four batteries replaced in 2025. Custom sound system with light bar under the dash. Chrome spoke wire wheels with bias ply tires (2 new tires included). Runs, drives, and sounds excellent. Clean and comfortable interior. Gauges all function, and fuel gauge incorporated into a flashlight mounted on the steering column! Overall one of the coolest cars we've had pass through our inventory in some time. Make a statement at your next cruise night!! Slight hydraulic leak in rear, and horn in-op. Passenger vent window cracked but replacement available.
