This Grand Sport is a hybrid of the Z51 Stingray and the Z06, sharing much of the wide body work of the Z06 (except the hood), with the Z51 LT1 dry-sump engine. The Blade Silver Metallic paint is stunning and flawless, and it's contrasted with iconic Grand Sport red hashmarks on the front fenders that give it a sporty look. The carbon fiber hood features a black louvered vent, and a black front splitter lies beneath the front fascia. Contrasting black body elements continue with side rocker extensions and a rear spoiler. Atop the car is a body-color removable carbon fiber targa top that offers a more open-air driving experience and the option of a different look. Both sides of the car are outfitted with power-adjustable heated mirrors and the drivers side also has an auto-dimming feature. Lift the lightweight hood to reveal an incredibly clean stock engine bay. Sitting at the center is a 6.2 liter LT1 V-8 that was factory rated at an impressive 460 hp. This engine was designed with a dry sump oil system that was a perfect fit for track driving and high acceleration. It's mated up to an optional 8-speed paddle shift automatic transmission that sends power to the rear with an electronic limited slip differential with performance gear ratios and a rear differential cooler. This combination allows the Corvette to achieve 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and to sprint a quarter mile in only 11.9 seconds. A driver mode selector and multi-mode performance exhaust allow the driver even more control over the cars performance depending on driving conditions. All that power isn't very useful though without good handling - and GM made sure it had that base covered with the Grand Sport performance suspension with magnetic ride control, Active Handling Stability and Traction Control, and Speed Sense power steering that utilizes a variable ratio rack & pinion system. Stopping power receives equal consideration with high-performance power 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors and ABS. One thing is for sure about this Grand Sport - it offers a simply exhilerating driving experience! Unlock the door with one of the two included fobs (which also offer remote start) and swing it open to reveal a like-new two-tone Gray interior. The comfortable gray leather GT bucket seats are heated, ventilated, 8-way power-adjustable, with power bolster and lumbar controls, and badged with silver Corvette logos.
