This 1971 custom built CUDA owned by DT CLASSIC AUTO received a 2-year rotisserie build with a combination of Custom work by Dave Rae of DB Restorations the premier Mopar guy and DT Classic Auto of Salt Lake City. The CUDA is finished in the factory “Tor-Red” paint and has been cut and buffed with the noticeable hemi billboard. The CUDA has an original “SHAKER” hood with Ring Brothers hinges custom fit to the new hemi bubble air intake. and a factory rear adjustable spoiler.
It features an new 485 HP - 392 GEN 3 - 6.4L Crate Hemi from Roseville Moparts. This engine is stepped up to the next level of performance with its SRT® 6.4L HEMI engine. Starting with a stock 485 HP crate then added a free flow custom exhaust with Custom long tube Headers and electronic cutouts and tuned to a mild 500+HP with 485 lb.-ft. of torque, this complete engine assembly also included the following;
· 392 cu. in., Cast Iron Block with 4-Bolt Powder Metal Caps,103.9mm Bore, 94.6mm Stroke, Forged Steel Crank, Powdered Metal, Floating Pin Connecting Rods, Hypereutectic Aluminum Pistons, Nodular Iron Camshaft, Aluminum Hemispherical Chamber Cylinder Heads, 54.3mm Intake Valve Size 42mm Exhaust Valve Size, 10.9:1 Compression Ratio, 6,400 Peak RPM
· This Hemi powerhouse from Roseville Moparts is mated to a Tremec 6-spd manual transmission by Silver Sport Transmission that’s driving a Moser Engineering high performance 8¾” rear end with removable Auburn sure grip posi-trac third member with 3:55 gears. This powerhouse features custom headers and a custom 2½” exhaust. it has an Icebox Performance custom built radiator w/ dual Spal electric fans keeping the engine cool with a custom cowl.
· The car has an pro-touring Suspension System with an RMS-AlterKation front suspension, rack and pinion steering and Viking coil over shocks. Front Tubular upper and lower control arms w/ Heavy Duty Front sway bar, Hodgkiss Heavy Duty Mopar torsion bars, The rear has an RMS 4- link suspension with Viking coil over shocks. The front and rear suspension is tied together with Hodgkiss sub-frame connectors. Wilwood 4-piston, 4 wheel disc brakes slotted and drilled. Leed billet master cylinder and booster.
· The interior has a custom seats by Darrell Doc “Burton Custom Interiors” built with black cloth inserts and black vinyl trim with red stitching. The seats surround the original center console and a custom cup holder, a new Retro-Sound blue tooth sound system with clean sound, Classic Auto Air- air conditioning, Nu-Relics power windows, tinted glass, rally dash with Dakota Digital gauges.
· This cuda rides on Year-One Custom built Rally 17” cast Aluminum wheels with Continental Extreme Contact 255/45 ZR17 tires.
