1964 Cooper Monaco Six T61 Cooper Monacos were built in 1964 and sold to the USA. Four went to Shelby American and were powered by the Ford 289 V8, and called the King Cobra. One went to John Mecom. This car CM/3/64 went to Jack Brewer in Upstate N.Y. and was raced with a fuel injected 327 CID Chevrolet V-8 and BMC Huffaker transaxle. This car is all original, including its original aluminum body, chassis, BMC Huffaker transaxle, Hilborne fuel injection and period correct motor. It has success in SCCA and USRRC Competition, which is well documented by period photographs, magazine articles and race reports.
