1953 Buick Eight Special

ALL ORIGINAL 1953 Buick Special Deluxe with 74,000 actual miles. Original engine, transmission and interior- even the original color, Jordan Gray. 1953 was the last year for the legendary Buick Straight-8 engine. From Virginia and North Carolina, not exposed to road salt or northern weather. Unrestored, stock car in original condition. Not redone, restored or modified. Outstanding patina and originality. Fireball 4.3L inline-eight engine, 3-speed synchromesh manual transmission. Equipped with Accessory Group M including electric clock, trunk light, plate frames and full wheel covers. Just gone over by my mechanic- this Buick is in running and driving condition. Starts great with new battery. Tune-up recently performed along with new fuel tank, fuel lines, new battery and full brake service. Runs and drives very well for an original 71 year old vehicle. Brought here from Virginia where it was kept for many years. Great condition body; no bondo or body filler. Super solid and great condition underside and frame. Original interior. Not replaced or redone. Upholstery and carpets in very reasonable condition for the age; looks very good. Headliner is somewhat worn and ripped. Clean interior overall, looks well kept. Runs and drives great. Engine starts and runs very well. Good clutch and transmission, good brakes, steering, suspension, etc. No major issues or problems.
