BODY OVERVIEW:
This Insight presents exactly as you’d hope from a sub-14,000-mile survivor. The aluminum body panels are straight, clean, and VIN-matching throughout, confirming this car’s remarkable originality. Panel fit is excellent, and the lightweight, aerodynamic design still looks futuristic even 25 years later. The only notable exterior quirk is a pair of front license plate holes from prior registration in a state that required them. Otherwise, this is about as untouched as it gets!

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The original Citrus Yellow paint is nothing short of stunning. Finished in the rarest color offered for the first-generation Insight, it is glossy, vibrant, and incredibly well-preserved. Defects are at an extreme minimum, consistent with careful long-term storage in private collections and very limited use. Some of the wheels show very minor age-related wear, but overall the presentation is exceptional and entirely consistent with the ultra-low mileage.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING?
Due to age and limited use, there is a check engine light related to the hybrid battery heater circuit, something that is consistent with a vehicle that has spent much of its life preserved rather than driven. The current tires are from 2012. All other tested functions and features are working exactly as they should, and it can be driven on the gas engine as-is.
