2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

This is a truck. It does the job, and it does it well, without complaining. Treat it like a truck, and you'll get as much out of it as you need. This is a small work pickup with two doors and one row of seats and a standard bed. The engine is a large V6, an EcoTec3 4.3L that puts out 285 horsepower and 305 ft-lbs of torque but still gets 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The white paint is in good shape for 147k miles, and looks professional and sturdy on the body.

I'll be honest, this car is pretty basic when it comes to features, with no Bluetooth or fanciness in the cab. The important thing that most truck buyers want information on is how the car is mechanically. When we got it it passed smog and a safety inspection, but this truck needed some stuff fixed, and we've invested heavily into getting it up to The Car Dad's standards. Work we've done includes an oil change and it passed smog, but the big ticket items this car needed was an AC compressor replacement and AC system recharge, and much more importantly we had to put in a new rear main seal. The rear main seal also necessitated some small tweaks, but overall the main seal leak and AC were the only real issues with the car. Now that they're fixed, this truck is ready to keep rolling for owner's needs.
