2017 BMW X1 xDrive28i

Typically this car wouldn't make it to the lot if I had my way. It's German made, it's a subcompact SUV crossover, and it's had 4 previous owners. All these things right off the bat made me extremely leery of acquiring this car, but we took a chance and boy howdy did it pay off! This car feels barely used, despite it's 111k miles. The leather seats are in immaculate condition, all of the electronics including the windows, moonroof, radio, AC, and dual power seats work flawlessly with like new speed and efficiency. The brakes are sensitive but not jerky and the relatively small 2.0L turbocharged inline engine has 228hp and gets basically the same fuel economy as the Honda CR-V we have on the lot right now (22/31MPG X1 vs 23/31 MPG CR-V city-highway).

The X1 is a subcompact SUV crossover, which means it's ideal for urban areas, like the Bay. Easy to park, maneuver in tight lanes, and peppy enough to shoot gaps safely, this car is perfectly adapted to bring the power and luxury of the BMW brand to a economically minded budget while still delivering the decadent features that made their brand so iconic. The car passed smog and a safety inspection, and needed very little reconditioning before The Car Dad was willing to list it, and now that it's on the lot he regularly looks for excuses to drive this car, and claims that it might be the nicest car we've had since we opened.

The pristine condition for the age and miles is kind of surprising, and all four previous owners documented their maintenance as this car has 27 records and 0 (zero) accidents or damage. Clearly, people loved this car, and if you've ever wanted a low maintenance vehicle that's been well maintained in the luxury class of cars, this may be the right vehicle for you!
