1970 Corvette 454 Alum Head LS7 Rare Engine Newly Built as This Car Would Have Been if Produced in 1970 as the Next Generation to the Famed L88 Cars but But Never Went to Production
?This car is in survivor condition original 454 car with some minor paint touch ups and a buff out when the hood was installed and painted. Interior is all original are body panels except the hood
?Engine is built as a 454 LS7 would have been if they had followed through with the plan to build such an extended generation of the famed L88 package. The heads and intake are the actual part numbers GM produced for that and a very close date code to the car. The block and exhaust manifolds are what the car was born with as well as the 4 speed transmission and rear gear. The carb is an L88 carb. The engine has less than 200 miles on a fresh rebuild with ground crank, bored, new pistons, balanced, line bored, new cam/ lifters/springs, no decking machining. The compression ratio is near 12:1. The hood is replacement L88 style with air filter and carb air top. The radiator is reproduction L88 aluminum. The clutch is a Ram 8 ½” dual disc with aluminum flywheel.
?The chassis is stock front end with rear fiberglass mono leaf spring and Wilwood brakes all around
New stainless steel 2 ½” Flowmaster exhaust system and tips
?This car is VERY FAST!! VERY RARE!! This could be the only one in existence with the correct engine parts to make it a real LS7 as they were intended to be built!
