We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced both front brake calipers, front brake pads, front brake hoses, selector seal, fuel pump hoses, alternator, radiator, electric choke, and much more.
The previous owner spent a lot of money on this corvette. He redid the interior with new seats, door panels, and carpet. He also had the corvette repainted in base coat clear coat, along with redoing the power steering hoses, trailer arm bushing, and much more over the years he had it.
This really sharp black corvette runs and drives really nice.
1977 was the last year for the short back window. It was also the first year without Stingray badges on the fenders, and saw the return of the black exterior color option. Each early 1977 also had a polished horn cap, which was later recalled due to safety concerns over the sun glaring on it.
