Following the successful XK120 and XK140 sports cars, the XK150 was the final variant of the design before the release of the iconic E-Type. While the XK150 bears more than a passing resemblance to its predecessors, it is actually a completely revised design to enhance passenger comfort. With a 3.4L or, for 1960, an optional 3.8L, Inline-6 and a choice of 4-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmissions, performance could be matched to customer desire.

In addition to its accelerative performance, Jaguar took a page out of their motorsport handbook and offered the car with four-wheel disc brakes - making the XK150 the first production car to come so equipped. Finally, three body styles were also offered: coupe, drophead coupe (DHC), or two-seat roadster (OTS). Whereas the DHC was more touring oriented, the OTS roadster's fully hidden roof and somewhat lighter weight made it the most sporting choice.

The magnificent 1959 Jaguar XK150 Roadster featured here is finished in classic Carmine Red over a Black leather interior with a matching folding convertible top. This spectacular motorcar was just released from a world-class collection and is now ready for its next caretaker. This investment-grade XK150 was subject to a thorough restoration and is now ready to be shown or driven. We are proud to offer what we believe to be an exceptional investments in the motoring world; I personally feel these sculpted works-of-art are severely undervalued. We offer this Jaguar XK150 to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this iconic motorcar!
