British Racing At Its Best- The Austin Healey Sprite Mark IV was produced British Motor Corp/British Leyland from 1967 through 1971. It was a very basic sports car powered by a 1275cc OHV 4-cylinder engine. Serious Racecar With Great History- That said, this 1967 Sprite is a serious racecar that was built by Billy Coates in 2005 and has been carefully 'tweaked' over the years. The owner has campaigned this Sprite very successfully for the last 16 years in VRG, VDCA and SVRA events. It has consistently been one of the fastest Sprites on the East Coast circuit.
