1,200 miles
1923 Ford TBucket
With the emergence of the hot roddding trend, enthusiasts were looking everywhere for the next cool vehicle to customize. Popular with 50's greasers was the modified Model T. These extensively custom bare bones Hot Rods would be ultimately named the T-Bucket. To keep up with the demand and the rarity of original steel cars, in 1957 the first fiberglass body was introduced and would change the hobby for many years to come. These cars have a big following and were named for their bucket appearance. They are all about power and simplicity with old school touches. This nice '23 T Bucket is a nicely built car that has 1,200 miles on it since being completed. It is primarily used as a show car and is often seen featured on the back of a custom flatbed pickup (which we also have available for sale.) The body is painted in a nice gloss Red and features Black pinstriping. There are a few different TBucket body styles and this one has the short pickup bed style. This is where you will find the fuel cell, chrome latching cap and it is topped off with a nice pleated Black cover. The radiator shell is painted Red to match the body and has a nice chrome grill. It has rounded chrome headlights and flush mounted tail lights which work properly. Instead of the 2 piece windshield you often see this one has the single piece mounted in a chrome frame. The Weld Racing wheels suit the car perfectly and are wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. They are 15 in wheels and the back tires are 29x18.00R15LT.
The car has a 350 V8 motor and with no hood is very worthy of showing off. It has nice chrome components throughout and a scoop air cleaner. It is fitted with a Holley 4 barrel carb and Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. It has a great sound through the dual headers and they aren't shown in the photos but it does come with the side pipes. A lot of the exposed suspension system and steering components like the drop axle and front leafs are all chrome. It also has adjustable coil overs and a 4 link. Disc brakes were installed up front and it has drums in rear.
The interior has been upholstered in Black with a bench seat and rear bolster. The automatic shifter is routed through the floor and moves through the gears smoothly. The dash is painted Red and has a full set of Equus gauges including a tachometer. It has a polished column that is topped off with a Grant GT steering wheel.
These T-Buckets have a big following so check it out while it is still available!
