This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a body-off father and son labor of love and we are pleased to have it available for sale in the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. It shines in performance as well as appearance with a new LS3 6.2L V8 engine teamed with a 4L65E automatic transmission, both from Pace Performance. After carefully stripping the body to bare fiberglass it was finished in gleaming 2018 Long Beach Red metallic paint with Silver Hood stripes. A new 1967 Big Block hood adds authority while subtle LS3 badges give it a finished factory look. A closely matched soft top provides an integrated look. Underneath, the frame was powder coated and C4 suspension upgrades added along with a Dana 44 center section. Dependability comes courtesy of the GM Plug ‘n Play wiring harness and a new API radiator. A stainless fuel tank and braided hoses with AN fittings comprise a clean, effective fuel system. Portage Trim in Ravenna OH designed and executed a clean, custom interior with black leather bucket seats with custom embroidered headrests, plus custom door panels, dash, and console with a Lokar shifter. Air conditioning by Vintage Air adds even more comfort. Power-operated tinted windows by Auto City Glass look and work great. Polyurethane mounts and bushings, extra insulation, heat spray, and hush mat bring a modern quality feel to the ride. 4-wheel power disc brakes feature drilled and slotted rotors, visible through the five spoke chrome aluminum wheels. They're mounted on Michelin Pilot Sport Tires. This 1963 Corvette Convertible excels in appearance, comfort, handling and performance as each element was carefully addressed during the build.
