1991 964 Targa - Factory Police Dutch Car

Historically, a total of 507 vehicles were part of the Porsche Dutch police fleet which also included the 356, 911, 914, and 924. The entire fleet had open tops to allow the police officers to stand on their seats to view and direct traffic. The Targas were a favorite due to their greater visibility. Additionally, the Targas were equipped with two rear-view mirrors, a rear wiper, fog lights, sirens, and at least one blue flashing light. These Porsches were officially used until retirement in 1996.
