This 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is a 4×4 example that was acquired by the seller in December 2021. Subsequent work included installation of a 6.0-liter LQ4 V8, a 4L65E automatic transmission, and an NP241 transfer case as well as new blue vinyl upholstery with plaid cloth inserts, an aftermarket camshaft and ECU tune, stainless steel exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, a 2" Rough country suspension lift, Dakota Digital gauges, and an Old Air Products HVAC system. The engine oil and drivetrain fluids were changed in January 2022. This modified K5 is offered with a 1987 purchase invoice, an owner’s manual, and a clean title. Since purchasing the vehicle on BAT my client has invested $16,500 in April of 22, when the vehicle had 35,794 miles on it and it currently reads 36,184 many seals, gaskets, sensors, suspension , new radiator, oil pump, Steering box, tie rods, drag link, wheel bearings, brake work, axle kit and Full New AC Service , was done to make it perfect !!!
The truck was refinished in blue and white with black pinstripes under previous ownership. Features include a white removable hardtop, chrome bumpers, and K5 Blazer fender badges.
Painted 15" Rally wheels wear chrome beauty rings and 33×12.5" BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO tires. Mile Marker manually-locking hubs are equipped up front. The truck has been lifted approximately 2" using Rough Country suspension components according to the seller.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in blue vinyl with plaid cloth inserts under current ownership. Additional work reportedly included applying Kilmat sound deadener. Amenities consist of a center console with cupholders, an Old Air Products HVAC system, and a RetroSound stereo feeding four 6×9" Alpine speakers.
A stock steering wheel sits on a replacement tilting column and frames blue-backlit Dakota Digital VHX gauges including a tachometer and a 160-mph speedometer with a digital odometer showing 36k miles, TMU.
The 6.0-liter LQ4 V8 and 4L65E automatic transmission are said to have been sourced from a GMC Yukon Denali. Engine modifications include a BTR Truck Norris camshaft and valve springs, Speed Engineering long-tube headers feeding a dual exhaust system, and a custom ECU tune.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through an NP241 transfer case that is said to have been resealed and features a Tom Wood slip yoke eliminator as well as custom front and rear driveshafts. Oil changes for the engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials were performed in January 2022
