Mechanical Specs

Pop the hood and gaze at the factory correct 289 cubic inch engine with the block, heads, and intake paint in Ford Racing Blue, the chrome open element air cleaner setup with the 289 correct decal on the lid, matching chrome Ford logo racing flags valve covers, headers leading back to the dual exhausts, grey performance spark plug wires, power brakes and steering, air conditioning, and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.

The engine sits in a perfectly clean, painted, detailed, and correct engine compartment while the undercarriage is all painted, structurally sound, and rides on the factory chrome styled mag wheels and Grand Am Radial GT raised white letter tires.

Interior

The twin rust colored bucket seat interior appears restored as stock with the factory center console with chrome automatic shifter and T-handle, factory dash with gauges, push button factory radio, matching door panels and rear seat, factory steering wheel, rust carpeting and matching Fairlane floor mats, rust colored factory seatbelts, air conditioning, and of course the white power convertible top.

The interior, exterior, and engine compartment are all to such a high level of presentation we do not have enough adjectives to really describe this Ford.

Exterior

Our XL has a super rare Ember Glow paint job that covers straight panels, has the XL factory badging with the bright work and chrome is in very good condition, as are drip moldings, front and rear chrome bumpers, glass, white power top, bottom chrome rocker panels, and window moldings.

Body lines are great, fit and finish is fabulous, and it looks actually better than it did when new.
