This Cobra was built by Superformance (serial number SPF890) so it began life as a rolling Chassis, not a kit. The car was originally a complete stock build by Superformance in 2000. In 2010 Nickens Racing was hired to work on the engine, after finished it went from the 460ci to 532ci producing 611hp and 626 ft-lbs of torque. All internals were replaced with high-end components and extensive reworking of flow on the heads. This Cobra is also dressed in the Essex Wire Livery which adds to it's uniqueness.
Virtually everything from the front to the back has been upgraded for durability and performance. Including;
Ron Davis radiator
Passenger-side roll hoop
Milodon baffled race pan
FuelSafe fuel cell
Cobra Valley sway bars
Ron Roberts sidepipes
Tremec 5 speed transmission with road race gearing
McLeod clutch
