If you're reading this, you already know what it is, and why it is special - As such, we will just focus on what we know about it - This has been in our private collection for ~4 years. We bought it with a bad timing belt, which we fixed and then added the car to our long term collection. - We replaced the timing belt, water pump, redid the head with all new seals/valves/etc - The head was one of the last heads redone by Cylinder Head Exchange, a quality local shop that did heads for 20+ years before the owner retired - New head gasket and ARP studs were installed - The turbo was examined for wheel play (none) and the cylinder walls were inspected. They looked great and still have cross hash marks! We believe we can find the pictures, but we will have to look. - We should have all the receipts for the above work. - Runs, drives, sounds, feels AWESOME. This car is CRISP and TIGHT. Well kept and loved by its previous owner and *** IT IS 100% STOCK!! *** NOT ABUSED, NOT MODDED, NO UPGRADES. ALL STOCK - Tinted windows all the way around, including the windshield which has a ceramic tint. The entire front end has been clear wrapped/clear bra'ed. And so the paint under there should be brand new if you ever remove the clear bra. For the age/miles/what it is, we think it is in excellent condition overall. Not abused, not neglected. Body is in fantastic shape. Interior is great too, looks better in real life than in the pics which is just how VW's photograph for some reason. The headliner needs attention, see the pics. We already ordered the replacement headlight washer cover on the right side. - Dynaudio sound system (OEM), sounds awesome, bluetooth streaming audio works great, everything we can recall, works just fine at this time. - ADD ~15% TO THE PRICE TO GET THE TOTAL AFTER TAXES/DMV FEES for CA buyers.
